1. Check-In: After check-in, you will be introduced to your float attendant.
2. Entering Your Suite: Shut and lock the door to your float suite. Disrobe and insert earplugs.
3. Using Earplugs: Insert earplugs before showering to ensure they set properly and don’t fall out.
4. Preparation Steps: Use ointment to cover small abrasions (e.g., around fingernails). Remove any makeup with provided wipes.
5. Shower Instructions: Shower with lukewarm water to wash your body and hair. Use soap to remove residues and oils. Avoid very hot or cold water to maintain a comfortable skin temperature.
6. Pre-Entry Steps: Dry your face with a hand cloth to prevent water droplets from becoming a distraction. There’s no need to dry your body completely before entering the tank.
-
1. Place Washcloth: Place the washcloth on the tank handle to use if salt water gets in your eyes.
2. If You Get Saltwater in Your Eyes: Use the in-tank spray bottle with fresh water to rinse your face. Dry your face with the washcloth.
3. Float Settings: It’s recommended to float in complete darkness and silence. Lights and music are controlled by air-buttons within the float rooms.
-
1. Shower: Shower thoroughly after exiting the float tank.
2. Cleaning Ears: Use cotton swabs to remove any salt water from your ears to prevent grittiness.
3.Hydration: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. -
Swimwear: Swim suits are optional but floating nude is recommended for the best experience. Swim suits can be distracting, introduce bacteria, and will be very salty and wet upon exiting.
Claustrophobia Concerns: If you have concerns about claustrophobia, see the section below or speak with an attendant.
Will I feel Claustrophobic?
Your comfort and relaxation are our top priorities. We understand that claustrophobia—whether due to a fear of confined spaces or simply a preference for more room—can be a concern. That's why we've thoughtfully designed our flotation experience with your peace of mind in mind.
Our flotation rooms are spacious and inviting, offering a gentle alternative to traditional flotation pods or tanks. With dimensions of 7'10" in length, 4'4" in width, and 7'3" in height, our rooms are more akin to a cozy, private space than a compact pod. This ample room allows you to stretch out fully and enjoy the freedom of movement as you relax.
Each flotation suite is equipped with a private changing area and shower for your convenience. You’re welcome to leave the door slightly ajar if that makes you feel more comfortable, and if darkness isn’t to your liking, a soft light can be left on during your session.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out. Our warm and attentive staff is here to ensure your experience is as soothing and enjoyable as possible.
